Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Arrest
In ga. What is the arrest procedcure involving a drug offense.And when is a warrent needed?
Also if aressted on a drug charge.And the witness is dead at time of aresst and court hearing?Would it be legal to prossicute the case without the witness?

Your question on the warrant depends on many different factors. Where was the arrest at home or in public? What was the arrest for a felony or a misdemeanor?
As for prosecuting without a witness the police can do and do it all the time. There is nothing wrong with it and often eye witnesses are not reliable for either side.
If you were the one charged get an attorney to help you out. You will have a much better out come with an attorney than with out one.
