Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
If someone was arrested but the charges got thrown out and he was never convicted but 6 years later he gets arrested again can they hold that against you and use that when sentencing you?

A judge may consider a criminal defendant's "prior criminal record" when sentencing. Prior criminal record would include being arrested for a crime.
