Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
'i was arrested on a felony warrant and bonded out of jail! the charge was forgery in the 1st degree. i simply dropped off a perscription for an acquainteance, I walked in said i needed to drop this off for some one when asked if the person had stuff filled there before i told them all i had been told it should be in the computer! I told person at the counter to have a nice evening and left the store! I later learned that someone picking up the fore mentioned medication was arrested because the perscription was a forgery! A few weeks later I was informed of the warrant for my arrest! I had spoken with an attorney and he made his thoughts on the matter very clear! He then smiled and told me his retainer fee! I'm a disabled parent of 2 and court is fast aproaching the bond papers state the 16th of July! I have no idea what to do or what to expect from this court date in my very near future! I would be grateful to anyone that will give me any info on this matter! THANK YOU!

You have a serious felong charge and you say you talked to a lawyer. You should be asking these questions to your lawyer and it is essential that you have a lawyer handling your case. In many cases the difference between a good outcome and a disaster in court will be your lawyer. (If you're unable to afford counsel, the court can appoint counsel, and you should already have requested that from the court).
