Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I was arrested (misdemeanor) for theft by the company I worked for. I spoke with the companies attorneys, and agreed to pay reparations for the merchandise. This was 6 months ago. I thought it was over and done with, until I got a letter for arraignment today in the mail. I was not expecting this and was wondering what my best course of action is.

People arrested for crimes that will affect their future for years to come get criminal lawyers.
Your best course of action is to IMMEDIATELY retain legal counsel.
You made the mistake of talking to the "companies attorneys" by yourself. See what a bone-headed foolish move that was?
If you had been smart, instead of admitting toi a crime and making statements, you would have had hired a lawyer. Now you really need one as you may go to prison.
Best course of action is to retain an attorney, who mightbe able to contain the effect the charge will have on the rest of your life. See website for advice on how to select the best attorney: www:lawrencelewispc.com
