The advice is "DO NOT DO IT!"
A great way to talk your way into jail is to talk to the prosecutor or police.
You need to retain a lawyer to represent you and determine what to do.
Any easy way to get this resolved? Go contact a lawyer. Easiest thing you can do.
Make a statement to whom? The police have already made their arrest. They are not interested in your point of view. The prosecutor is only interested in how they can jail you. IS that who you are trying to make a statement to? I suggest that you retain an attorney. See website for info on how to retain the right attorney: www.lawrencelewispc.com
