Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
i was arrested for theft by receiving on nov 20 2009. police got a search warrant for my business after my arrest.claimed more stolen property was found.i pled to a 12 months suspended sentence on jan 4 2010.got arrested again on feb 25 2010 on a warrant for six more theft by receiving charges from the search.i been indicted again and currently going back n forth to court.is this double jeopardy or should all the charges should have been indicted and convicted together or is this proper procedure. david

Based on the information you provided, you should have not been arrested, let alone indicted for the second set of charges if the police where privy to the information at the time of your first arrest.
