Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
If Attacked By Police
using excessive force can you legally defend your life. I've got a friend that claims he put a police officer in the hospital but they couldn't do anything because he was defending his life. This doesn't seem true. If it is what court decision was handed down to make it legal?

Re: If Attacked By Police
You generally always have the right to defend yourself from bodily harm. Whether you are allowed to use deadly force depends on the facts of the situation.
