Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I bought a truck for $34,000 paid with a personal check. The finance company told me payoff was $532 so I sent them a cashiers check and wrote the man a check for $34,000 but now the Leon holder is trying to repo my truck because the mans last payment that he made online was reversed for insufficient funds. There is still $34,800 still owed on the truck. Is there a law against this.

Obviously you would not buy a car without a written payoff letter showing the balance? Unless the last payment was $34,800, nothing you posted makes sense. What did that WRITTEN payoff letter say you needed to pay, and did you pay that?
