Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
My boyfriend caught charges 10 days before the end of his parole. However his parole officer did not put a hold on him and he was allowed to bond out. We just so happened to get the money to bond him out the 10th day on his last day of parole. The next day he started probation. When he reported to his probation officer she arrested him for violation of his probation on the charges that he caught while he was on parole. Since he was not on parole and probation at the same time, can they violate his probation when it happened while he was on parole?
