Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
my boyfriend is getting charged with a felony firearm charged because he's a convicted felon. He went to prison under the first offender act so they can't find a back ground on him will they still convict him if they find a background?

What gave you that idea? Law enforcement, judges and prosecutors can and do look at 1st offender records. Before you get your boyfriend in more trouble with your erroneous advice, help him get a lawyer.
He can spend many years in prison on this charge.

Whose the "they" that cannot pull his GCIC? You are living in a fantasy world. They will have his criminal history and prosecute him within six months of his arrest. Good luck.
