Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
My brother-in-law is a felon who was convicted of his crime more than 5 years ago. He had been working for a large pizza delivery chain for the past 1 1/2 years with good reviews from his boss.
He has now been fired because the corporate office just carried out some "routine" checking and discovered his record. He says he was never formally asked to reveal whether or not he had been convicted of a felony or other crime.
He lives and work in Georgia. Does he have any recourse?
Thanks for your response.
