Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
What happens to a case when the defendant doesn't go back to court, has their bond revoked, after 2 years the case is put on dead docket, then 5 years later the person is arrested in a different county for different charges? Will the case that the person failed to appear at 5 years ago go back through the same process of an arraignment & a trial? Would the state still have the evidence from something 5 years ago?
