Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I got caught switching price tags on 4 items and not ringing up 3 at a Wal-Mart. I was arrested there. I'm from Florida and will make my court date.. this is my first ever offense.. it's a misdemeanor well under 500.. my arrest warrant was wrong.. the last who caught me left and another one typed it.. What am I facing as I'm fines and jail since I never been arrested? Also could I have this taken off my record or have adjudication with held?

Not having a lawyer is horribly foolish. Any theft conviction, whether you go to jail, get fined or whatever, will make you pretty much unemployable for life. So on Monday, get counsel. If you have defenses, it is unlikely you'll know how to assert them without counsel. Additionally, you may be eligible for programs that avoid a conviction at all, and again, without counsel, you may never be considered. If this case is in Georgia, and that isn't clear from your post, you could end up being tried on multiple counts, so worst case scenario is several years in jail and several thousand in fines. You may, with counsel, do far better.

Stop posting evidence against you on the internet (the prosecutors love it when you make their job easy)
Hire a great criminal attorney ASAP
Good Luck
The arrest warrant was wrong? How do you know? Was it materially wrong, such that the case will be dismissed? How would you know that? What you are facing is a function of how you approach the case. IF the warrant is wrong challenge everything, and deal with jail at the end of the challenge, IF the challenge is unsuccessful. OR look for a resolution where you accept responsibility, and get a relatively light sentence. You probably need to sit down with an attorney
