Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I would like to know how can a charge that have yet been indicted show up on your criminal record and stops me from obtaining employment. I would further like to know is my 6th amendement right been violated because this case have been on a dead docket for 3 years?

Your criminal record contains any charges brought against you PLUS any convictions, judgments, etc. As such, the minute you get arrested, you have a criminal record, whether the local prosecutor decides to proceed or not. If your case has been on the dead docket for 3 years, I would STRONGLY recommend that you hire a Georgia criminal defense attorney to explain your rights moving forward.

I've never seen someone before complain about a dead docket. It's almost as good as a dismissal (and, depending on the charge, after that long, may not be able to be brought to trial). You need to discuss this with your lawyer.

Any arrest you have - unless expunged - appears in your criminal history.
