Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I was charge with simple battery. Then the state pick it up and charge me with aggravated assault. Something I didn't do. The da came to me with 2 pleas . I'm not pleding to nothing I didn't do. Me and my wife had a argument . we was drinking. And I left the house. I don't like arguing. While I was gone she call the police and told them I slap her and choke her. Not true. Me and my wife r still together. And she ain't going to court. So can I beat that charge without her being present. I'm going to jury trial .
