Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
hi i was charged with a felony and placed on probation 6 years ago after at least 6 visits to office they never knew who i was they told me they would call me when they figured it out i never heard from them so i thought it had got lost or something now 6 years later i found out their is warrent for my arrest what should i do please help

You need to get a lawyer and turn yourself in.

You need to retain an attorney. The attorney may be able to schedule a walk-in, which is where you walk into court, and explain to the judge what occurred, so that you may avoid jail altogether. If you turn yourself into the jail or the probation office, you will spend the time between the turn-in and the court date in jail. Good luck.
