Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
i was charged with a felony for tobacco passed guard lines, which was outside of the county jail but was by the court house. my charge after being processed was: alcohol, weapon, drugs passed guard lines. my question is what is the most time i can recieve , is this charge at all beatable, and can i plea no-low?

The charge is usually not beatable because it is a status offense. Since it was not illegal (controlled substance) contaband, it's usually a probation offense. The DOC has been cracking down on these charges and you could possibly get prison time. Get a good lawyer.
