Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I am being charged with harrassing phone calls when it was the only number to reach my husband after he walked out on me and our kids and now because I called ALOT over and over because he was hanging up on me after not showing up for our little boys birthday can he really do this? he is trying to get a warrant for my arrest

You are guilty of harassing phone calls. You do not get to call a deadbeat dad 50 times to try and make him a not deadbeat dad. He can do it, and IF he has the history of calls you will be arrested. Calling a deadbeat dad over and over can land you in jail.

Instead of that, get a lawyer and file divorce. Or if funds are limited, either seek an arrest warrant for him for abandonment of his children, or set him up for child suport with the state and do the divorce later. But stay OFF the phone, and if you do get arrested, get a lawyer.
