Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I have been charged with reckless boating in Stephens co. GA. Is there a reason that the county attorney will not return my phone calls in anticipation of an arraignment hearing?

YES. He does not anticipate that you will want to go to jail, so in his mind there is nothing to talk about before arraignment.

Thank God he didn't, since he's not your lawyer (and his job is to convict you). You should be calling your lawyer (and if you don't have one, get one).
