Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I have three charges against me: theft by taking, and two fraud/transaction charges. I stole a wallet and made two purchases that totaled 200USD on 01/20/2017. All the items that were purchased were kept in original packaging with receipt and refunded. The wallet was returned in original condition with everything in it as well. I turned myself in on 02/13/17 and was released the same day on signature bonds for all three charges. This is my first time every being arrested and I am a university student. I am in the state of GA and currently waiting for a court date to be mailed. Will I go to prison?

You can (although you may possibly avoid it with counsel) and returning the items doesn't undo the crime. Any conviction for theft makes you pretty much unemployable for life, so unless you're cmpletely foolish, you already should have a lawyer. With luck you may be able to work out sometype of pretrial diversion to avoid the criminal record that would render your college pretty useless with that criminal record. It was VERY dangerous and foolish to post your admission to the crime here on the internet where police and prosecutors can read it. Agin, you HAVE to get counsel; this is a turning point in your life, so you only get one chance at this.
