Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
A company called Waypoint leasing recently unlawfully entered my house without permission. The property is not owned by the company and they have no connections to it at all. An employee entered the house we don't know if they took anything or even took pictures of our important documents. Filed a police report that day Sheriff asked if we checked the house and we didn't think there was anything missing. Looking to find out what solution would be reasonable since we have now lost our peace of mind ? Should we settle out of court or get a lawyer and sue them ?

Someone from this company just randomly broke into your house? How did they enter? Did they make a mistake in the address? Did you ask them why they were there? The whole story is important.
