Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Can you have a conviction by a jury changed to the First Offender Act after the fact, because your attorney did not know that you could ask the Judge to recieve it. He thought that you were only entitled on a Plea Arrangement.....This is in the State of Georgia....(Felony)

Generally, once a trial starts, all bets are off and you are stuck with the result. However, you might consult with another local attorney to see if the fact that your attorney did not know all the options might afford you some relief.
