Possible Court Results

I'm appearing in State Court in Athens, GA for my 2nd offense of Underage Possession of Alcohol and Open Container. I am already on Probation for the same offenses.

What are the possible sentences I could receive?

O.C.G.A. Section 3-3-23.1 specifies the penalties for second underage possession of alcohol. Both it and open container will be dealt with as misdemeanors, carrying a possible 12 month sentence and $1,000.00 fine as to each. Your driver's license is also subject to suspension for up to 12 months. You need legal representation and I recommend you hire counsel before your arraignment.
