credit card fraud
i'm been told that i stole a person credit card number and was asked to come in to talk to a officer about it and i did it. they didn't lock me up or charge me with this then they sent u.s. marshalls to my job looking for me almost a month later.my question is if they had so much evidence on me why didn't they lock me up at the time that i was in for questioning. can they do that? and i didn't do this.

Re: credit card fraud
They can lock you up when ever there is sufficient evidence or bring you in for questioning when they need to. My advise to you is to never be questioned by the police without an attorney. You will only be setting yourself for failure.
