Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Criminal trespass
i recently walked away from a possible altercation and(yes,out of anger)puched the neighboring business window out.apologized to the owner the next day..paid to have it fixed immediatly($800)and hired an artist to repaint his mural back on.nice guy...he is perfectly happy. i have a letter saying everything is handled...we both signed it. i have a copy of the certified check i gave him also. i must go to court for ''criminal trespass.'' never been in any trouble....should i hire a lawyer or just take the documentation and explain what happened?

It would probably be in your best interest to hire a lawyer, since it sounds like the case can be dismissed.
