I was defrauded out of more than $20k from someone out of Atlanta, GA who asked for a loan. What charges can I bring against him?

It depends on how you were "defrauded". What does that mean exactly? Are you wanting to file criminal charges or a civil action (to recover your $20k)? Lots of unanswered questions.
