Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Direct Estoppel
If a person is acquitted on a conspiracy charge can the same conspiracy be re-litigated in another trial?
If an amendment is filed and after one year has passed and no response is received, can another amendment be filed?
Thanks,
Sheila

Re: Direct Estoppel
The federal and state constitutions forbid being prosecuted for the same offense twice. Other than that, your question lacks the detail necessary to answer it more fully. Good luck.
