Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
District Attorney
DA presented a Plea Bargain for case. I asked my lawyer to counter the offer. If, for some reason I don't think my lawyer spoke to the DA about the Counter offer, do I have a right talk to the DA. to find out if it was presented to him.

Re: District Attorney
It is improper for one attorney to speak with the client of another attorney. This includes the DA.
The answer is no.
If you have such serious doubts about your attorney, you need to try to work those issues out before entering a plea.
If you can't work them out, it would be to your advantage to change lawyers.
