Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Driver's license
Afew months ago I found out my license # was stolen and used on someone else's stolen checks. I filed a police report and was going to get my number changed when I was arrested for a different offense. Now I am out on bond but I still need to change my number. Can I change it now that I have a bond?

Re: Driver's license
Being out on bond does not automatically preclude you from getting a new driver's license, unless there is a specific condition of your bond saying that you can't, but you must notify the court and/or bondsman in writing of your new dl number.
