Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

False Charges

I was accused of hitting a student. However, it was proven that the child actually struck me in the back. Simply Batter Charges were filed but never brought to trial. Nolle Pros. The parent and child was a NO SHOW t the school board hearing. Records show that the child was a troubled student with repeated offensives. What DO I DO NOW?

Re: False Charges

My concern would be what the effect of the charges on renewal of you teaching contract or license. You may wish to speak to someone about having your record expunged so as to avoid any problem.
