Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I was falsely arrested in Cobb county for theft by conversion. I have never stolen anything in my life. Back in 2012 I filed bankruptcy. I purchased some furniture a few months before I filed and it was added to my bankruptcy. I was evicted from my apartment and lost furniture. Said furniture was added to my bankruptcy so it was being paid for. So I should not have been arrested for something that was on my bankruptcy. I was arrested. Lost my job. Therefore this resulted in me losing my place and can't provide for my family. I have not gone to court yet. They haven't set a court date yet. What should I do?
Thank You,
