Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I have a family member currently serving a short term sentence, he has an outstanding warrant in another county. what is the best way to try to get the warrant time served along with the time he's serving now? the warrant is for a traffic ticket, he was put on probation until the warrant was paid. he can't pay while he is serving his time, is it also possible for the probation to be extended when he is released and back at work to pay the ticket off? if so what do I need to do

You need to do nothing yourself. While what you ask may or may not be possible, it would require appropriate motions and court filings which clearly are the practice of law. It would be a crime for you to prepare such filings even if you had the expertise. What you can do to help would be to get him a lawyer to determine if it's possible, and, if it is, to proceed.
