Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I currently have two felony warrants.the first is a vop warrant for not reporting to my felony probation since may of 2010.my 3 year probation term would've soon been complete except for the remainder of my fine still owed which had been converted to community service.the second warrant is for 3 pending charges that occurred in sept of 2009 which I've not been to court for as of now.however, while released on bond and under pretrial supervision I did not show up for a random drug screen which lead to a bond revocation hearing on june28,2010 which I also failed to appear for.I am seeking legal advice as to if It would be in my best interest to hire a paid attorney to possibly reduce any jail time I might have to serve and to help the outcome of all my current legal issues,or if there is not much any attorney can do at this point.essentially I would like to know the best way to handle my situation and to resolve my warrants.thank you
