If you want to find out if the attorney is licensed to practice, simply look up their name on the State Bar's website. I assume this "lawfirm" is in Georgia since you posted in the Georgia section.

Theree is no such thing as a US bar association. Each state has a bar association and you can go on their websites or call to verify a person's membership.

About two seconds on Google found the website you likely saw. I'd be very dubious of any criminal law firm that did not name a single lawyer in the firm on their website. You want experience, not an anonymous referral, for criminal cases.
