Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I just found out today after letting a friend stay the night at my house that she was wanted and am now trying to be pursued charges for aiding and bedding a wanted person. i had no idea that she was even wanted, can they still pursue these charges? if so, what can i do to get out of this since i had no clue what was going on?

You can not get a lawyer and watch things go badly for you, or you can get a lawyer.
You need to be careful your communication with local authorities. Any information you provide can and will be used against you. I suggest that you hire professional help.
The fact that you write that you had no ideais not going to change anything for the prosecutor. Let us imagine for a second that you absolutely knew that your friend was a fugitive. What would you say to the prosecutor? You would say, I had no idea, because if you say I have no idea, maybe the charges will be dismissed. So, irrespective of whether you knew or not, the prosecutor expects you to say that you did not know. Ergo, your saying you didn't know doesn't mean anything. I suspect that you need to get the "right" attorney. Hiring an attorney that has no reputation for trying cases will lead to a plea. Hiring an attorney that has a reputation for trying cases, may lead to a dismissal.
