Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Fraudulent Motor Vehicle Title
At 18 I purchased a car in my name. Dad co-signed loan (not on title). Dad got mad and took car (I had moved to Florida). Car has been paid off by Dad's mom. Title is still in my name according to DMV. Can I get car back? Can he sell car? What are my options?

Re: Fraudulent Motor Vehicle Title
Wow. I hate to say the father is committing grand theft auto but that is sure close to what it sounds like. I am reluctant, though, to put a father and son at odds that way without being absolutely sure. Could you e-mail me at [email protected]? I'd like to ask you a question or two before I opine for sure.
