Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
free bagging
friend works at store. you go to register. they charge you for one thing when you really bought two. go to municipal court and they arrest you. they have you on camera recieving the two shirts. you payed for one on record. can you get charges dropped because you did not know the store's policy and the friend said it was just a discount at register

If the friend said it was a discount at the register, that may be a viable defense, if you can get the friend to either testify or make a sworn statement. Not knowing the store's policy, however, is not a valid defense.
