A message board is not the place to argue a criminal case. Your friend can speak to his lawyer.

I disagree with Scott. A message board is a great place to address this issue. Your friend had a jury trial, because I know he did not plead to all of these charges. A JURY TRIAL. Everyone should undersand what that means. 12 average citizens, not lawyers, not prosecutors, not judges, listened to the case, and determined that your friend needs to go away. 12 average citizens listened to the evidence, and maybe to your friend if he testified, and voted that society would be better off without him. The jury did not tell you he was a bad guy, just that his judgment is soo poor that we don't need him to exercise anymore judgment in society. Can you appeal that, sure you can. put your money together and hire an attorney to undue the vote of teh 12 concerned citizens (who did not really want to come to serve on a jury in the first place)
