Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
A friend of mine was arrested on Felony drug charges, he has been seen by the Magistrate judge and the Magistrate did not set his bond, he turned it over to superior court. That was 16 days ago and my friend stil has no bond. How long can they hold him without a bond???

Basically, as long as they want. Since your friend is going to need any attorney anyway since it is a felony charge, he should go ahead and get one who can help speed the bond process along.
