Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

How can i get a FTA warrent dropped? My po set me up a court date for falloin behind on my fines and I didnt go. She told me i was current, then said i wasnt and all she could say was "my bad, my mistake"i have done everything i was suppose to do while on probation and now just working down paying my fines. I am a single mother and not working at the time and i have to be here with my child so i really dont need to go to jail. ANY ADVICE

The only an FTA will go away, is the judge recalls the warrant after you voluntarily appear in court before the judge. Otherwise, you can just wait until the police pick you up on the bench warrant, and go before the judge dressed in jail greens/orange. Good luck.

If you missed court, that is a crime, and while you may go to jail, you will likely go to jail longer by waiting. Turn yourself in.
