Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Ga Expungemnt Laws
I was arrested five months ago , and accepted pre-trial intervention conditions which will lead to a dismissal. I am concerned about this affecting my future employment. My question is, are the expungement rules set forth in O.C.G.A. 35-3-37 set in stone? Are there ever exceptions to these rule?

Re: Ga Expungemnt Laws
I believe this to be a statutory mechanism for expunging the record. I have petitioned the Superior Court for an Order of Expungement in other circumstances which did not fit this criteria, with varying success.
I would have to know the particulars of your situation, to comment further.
