Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Myself and my girlfriend were both charged with possession of the same drugs.if one of us pleads guilty to all charges, will the other one have their charges dropped.

If the prosecutor thought only one of you was guilty, only one of you would have been charged. It's extremely common for two or more people to possess the same drugs at the same time. Alternatively, the prosecutor could believe you possessed them at different times -- for example, if one of you gave them to the other. Since you could both be guilty, there is no reason why a guilty plea from one of you should undermine the charges against the other.
