As best as I can tell you are trying to discuss someone else's case with that person's lawyer, who is a public defender. Under rules of lawyer ethics, that person cannot discuss anything with you. So you may not call that lawyer.

And I do see something about a missed court date. When someone is foolish enough to do that, they usually will sit in jail pending a hearing because they are a flight risk.

What you can do is either find the means to assist her in getting her own lawyer, and don't interfere, or just stop interfering now. You'll do not good at all and only cause more problems. Do you think people on this website know any more about the case than her lawyer?

You have no money. That is the start and end of your legal question. No attorney is going to work for free. So, you need to work with the public defender. The fact that teh PD does not move at your pace is fine, because you have no money. You cannot ship a package overnight if you do not have overnight money. So need to just wait for normal postal delivery.
