Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Are there grounds for a fleeing attempting to elude charge if there were no visual or audible signals given by the arresting officer? The parked officer witnessed a traffic violation and later stopped the the vehicle. There was no pursuit.

Yes there are grounds, which is why you were charged. No arresting officer operates in a vacuum. There is a shift supervisor that reviews the reports, and a Magistrate Court judge that signs the arrest warrant. If you were arrested there are grounds. Are the grounds enough for you to be convicted beyond a reasonable doubt? That is what you hire an attorney to determine. See my website: www.lawrencelewispc.com Good luck.
