We can't possibly know what you are talking about since you started in the beginning of the story. However, it appears you were charged with a serious crime, were convicted and sentenced to many years in prison. The time to act was in the very beginning, and hire a good criminal lawyer. A website like this was not the answer then and is not now. Hire a good criminal lawyer to review your case.

I had difficulty understanding your question. I presume that you are bilingual and/or that English is not your primary language. In any case, from the question presented, it appears that the judge questioned you regarding whether or not you were under medication. This typically happens when you are entering a plea. Solicitors typically will not offer a plea to a court without first establishing that the defendant is cognizant of what is happening, is not under the influence of any medication that would impair his/her judgment, etc.

If you indeed entered a plea and now feel that that plea was entered illegally you may have the ability to appeal depending upon how much time lapsed. If in fact you want to appeal a conviction, you should speak to an experienced Criminal attorney and they can inform you as to the necessary steps to "get the ball rolling."

Best of luck to you and your family.

What is your question? Is what happened to you fair? You were deported, because you are illegal. That had nothing to do with the criminal offense. What was the criminal offense? You did not provide any info.

I can assure you the public defender did not get "paid". More like hardly paid.
