Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Hello,My name is Tracy,I live in Decatur,Ga in 2007 i was charged with two misdemanor/1 Simple Battery and/2 Disorderly Conduct from a fight within my home.I went to court and i have finish with everything the judge told me to do.I was given a Probation Officer and I was told by the P.O. as well as the judge that once i had finish everything that the judge told me to do that my record would be espunged.But a couple of months ago i tried to get a job and i was told no because this was still on my record.So my question is what can i do to have this espunged this was my first time getting into trouble.I really would like for this to be taken care of so that i my get a job.

You should file a motion with the judge demonstrating that you have satisfied all your obligations and now want your record cleared accordingly.
