Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
With holding tax money
My soon to be ex-husband filed our taxes, and they were directly deposited into a checking account to which he was able to get his half and was going to send me my half. Well he decided that he was not going to give me my half until I signed divorce papers. I have no money to get a lawyer, so that is why I am asking you... what can I do?

That is really bad dealing on his part...talk to a divorce lawyer about it. You may call me for a number to an attorney that I trust on these matters.
