Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
My house was burgulaized. My 20 year old son's friend pawned the jewelry. My son claims he had nothing to do with it. Should my son have an attorney present when detective questions him and gets a statement? Friend claims my son gave him the jewelry. Son not living with me at the time and has no car.

Your son should never make a statement or agree to be interviewed by law enforcement officer for any crime
Your son is a suspect and should say NOTHING without his attorney present, NOTHING!!
