Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
My husband was arrested in NC for warrants out of Georgia for aggravated assault on a family member, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime, criminal trespass and terroristic threats. I want to know if he waives extradition how long does GA have to come get him? Should he fight extradition to Georgia?

He should be asking the criminal lawyer he should have had on retainer well before now.

Once he waives, he will be transported between 10-14 days. He should only fight the extradition, IF he has never been to GA before. See website for info on retaining the right attorney: http://www.lawrencelewispc.com/pages.php?go=pinfo&PID=38
Good luck.
