Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
My husband was given 2 and a half years probation from Gwinnett county GA. Before being released he was extradited back to Illinois for a parole violation. Illinois has sentenced him to 15 months in prison. My question is will it be possible to get time served for his probation so that he will not have to do probation once released from Illinois? If this is possible, how do I go about handling this for him?

You are asking Georgia lawyers to guess what will happen in an Illinois case we know nothing about. There is one person who can answer your husband's questions - his criminal lawyer.

It is possible, and it is typically automatically done.
